good news/bad news...
the good news is that my little murder in the magick club will be featured up front, near the front door (i think) at the upcoming book expo of america
the expo'll be in nyc at the javits center, which looks like a crystal palace & reminds me of the louvre
the bad news is... babs streisand will be in the back of the hall promoting her wonderful, new book on design
can you say, "stampede!" &/or, "get outta my way!" to bask in the light of a star?
i'm hoping that the gusts of fans blowing past m in the mc may at least fan it open a little?
finally, i'm too envious that the book gets to go while i stay home & slave away on the sequel
type, type, type, but 'tis a labor of love
i'm hoping to have the sequel done & ready to go to the kindlers by the end of may, which is the same time as the expo
if you go, have fun & get an autograph for me!

sequel...

workin' on the sequel
about 40% done
thanks to a horribly hidious, humorless review, totalllly motived not-to-hold-back!
no more mr. nice hack!
but be forewarned... the sequel's not nearly as bright & cheerful, not nearly as nice & sweet as the first one?
as a preview, gotta tell ya' that poor, dear, sweet, stupid madge, who i love dearly, had "that last baby for nuthin'!"
of course, she & her helium heel'll have a new, beloved dude de jure
alas, the poor writer now has to type t-h-a-d-d-e-u-s a 1,000 times?!
to quote pepe le pew, "sacreblue!"

Murder In The Magick Club

Murder in the Magick Club takes place in Tampa, Florida and offers an insider's expose of the "Salem of the South" . . . written straight from the spleen.

Murder in the Magick Club is the first in a series wherein the victim needs killin' and the murderer always gets away with it . . . maybe.

All of the characters -- customers, cops, staff and the financially long-suffering owner of the Magick Club are always ready with an easy bit of slander, and perhaps an easy bit of murder.

Murder in the Magick Club is a ripping good read to grab on the way to the beach. Perfect to curl up with a steaming hot cup of mugwort tea, a bottle or two of merlot, the beer bong &/or the hashish-stoked hookah.
